“MF-Tokyo 2011 Metal Forming & Fabricating Fair Tokyo” (held biennial year) for the second time this year, there was a concern in the beginning that the exhibition might be postponed due to the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake, however, the exhibition took place as planned under the condition that “Reconstruction Assistance could be fulfilled through positive business activities not voluntary restraint”. Moreover, with due consideration to saving electricity and energy during the course of the exhibition, there were no major obstacles.

Eventually, both the fair scale and number of visitors exceeded the previous exhibition. While many negative factors such as the Earthquakes and holding in August, the exhibition generated successful results attributable to the exhibitor’s efforts of positive promotions and effective use of event activities. At times, main streets of the floor on the second, third and in the morning of the last day were flooded with so many visitors.
